Quest for ImprovementI came across this interesting idea from reading this journal entry. So I'm gonna do a little comparison of my art over the years and I hope[key word hope] it shows the strides I've made over the years..

Inking

Comments:...much , much better inking skills and character designs! Maybe I should remake that utena char >_>...
Marker Art

Comments: I've learned about how to use markers more effectively and that printer paper isn't the best paper for the job , neither is my sketchbook paper because it's thick like cardboard.

Anime Art

Comments: For one I've been drawing anime since 1995 back when Sailormoon was taking over the lives of young girls and some boys. And one day when watching the show I said "I'm gonna draw tha sailor scouts!". Sadly I don't have that first drawing anymore but what I do know is it's a far cry from the stuff I make today , that's for sure. And now some basic things I've learned in my 11 years of drawing anime and total of 17 drawing all to gether:
1. Ginormous eyes don't work on a character who is lopsided to begin with >_>.
2. You cannot eyeball human figures >_<;;!
3.Just because you can draw nice still lifes[I draw sexy fruits which I shall have to post later :3] and cartoony animals DOES NOT mean you can draw stylized human figures.
4. Good anatomy=makeshift skeleton with geometric shaps for body parts[remember "Circle makes the head!"]
5. Even if your grade school art teacher tells you to quit drawing something , don't just give up , say to hell with them and draw when they aren't looking
.6. And lasty...all things improve over time
!Well I hope that was fun or at least interesting to look at and you can see with practise and hard work you can go far
