"The most peaceful time for me , is during the night..."


I love it when I accidentally close my browser when typing out a long description ._.;;....

After reading through my "Idiots Guide to Drawing Manga" , I realised it was time to find out if I was learning anything about body proportions...and poor Tama[the dark haired chick from "Ange d'hiver"] was the victim..erm I mean supject :p. Somewhere along the 4 hour sketching process[O_O] something made me say "I'm gonna colour a night time scene!" , then next thing I know it's being inked and photshoppe'd and I'm spending an hour colouring the bloody moon O_O!!! I even made little clouds with out fancy brushes :3! Hopefully the whole picture shows improvement , the book is quite detailed. I guess drawing 1 233 456 678 921 700 circles does really work and look at what practise gets you , man oh man , next thing you know I'll be drawing GUYS dun dun duuuuuuun XD! That'll be fun :nod:. Maybe I'll even draw more forward facing pictures like so..I bet you all didn't think I could do that but I have tricks up my sleeves*is wearing a tank top* ._.;;...

A few things to note:

1. Apparently I can't draw buildings or windows to save my life[Daniel forgive me I tried ;_;...(He's my best school buddy and partner in crimes...well mischief :love:!)]
2. Her left eye[your right] is drawn in a way that makes mer look like she's squinting...that wasn't my intention D:!

Picture Stats

:bulletred:Drawing time: 4 hours and 10 attempts...damn you perfectionism ;_;!
:bulletred:Inking time: 3 hours with a fineliner pen and my hand was cramped up something awful >_>;;!
:bulletred:Colouring time: 12 days with 7hours perday..and I used 70-something layers O_o! As usual , it was coloured with Photoshop 7.0 and my wacom graphire 3 tablet.

She looks a bit distressed....as if she has just finished having hot steamy.............yeah. But the face and hair are VERY well done. This pic is great. I love the sky too. Good job. And the smoke effect is sweet.

ah now that I look at it she is suppose to look a bit smarty I guess. The stress look is becasue of the stings of hair hanging in front of her face. But it looks good.
