"For those of us who cannot currently afford diamonds, we have to look to other objects to call our best friends. I think I've found something, but...it has a BLOODY FACE! Since when do tablets have or need faces?!? I don't remember it having one when I bought it, and it didn't have one yesterday! It would seem it randomly developed facial features while creating this deviation...damn tablets, always drawing faces on themselves!"
I may not be a Brit, but I do say bloody ! So you've seen them before, people making anthropomorphic versions of different things. Like cellphones, cameras, their game consoles, iPods and whatever else you can stick a damn face or draw a body for. So while browsing through dA and talking to the lovely *revulo, the idea came into my head. The idea to make an anthro version of my tablet. So everyone say hello to Bamboo-chan, one of my Christmas presents of 2007. I became acquainted with him(yes he is male...I think) when I wandered into a Futureshop store with Christmas money to spend. He's been living in a room with ol' Aspire(the Acer, vista computer). They seem to get along really well. For example, sometimes Bamboo will be used in place of computer mice but where he really shines in working with Photoshop and Painter...it's almost as if Bamboo was made to work with those programs o_O! Also, he's really sensitive, he has 512 pressure sensitive points. Overall he's pretty likable and doesn't seem to mind my lefthandedness. But what does he do when he's not being jabbed and stabbed by that pen? Mostly sit on the computer desk, but he's not alone. There's his "brother", Graphire3, my box of art supplies...I heard Prismacolor markers are quite chatty. And they all have neighbours, Mr.Black(the iPod I got this christmas), Razr(my cellphone) and Stylo my other age=1"tablet. I should probably make pictures of those other gadgets, don't want anyone feeling left out. So you can look forward to those things while I work though my artistic "to do" list. Now if you'll excuse me...I must go and see if my tablet has a face still o_o!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

One problem though is that the pen sort of covers up the face and that makes the picture feel a bit crowded! D:
All in all though it's quite cute :3
