"Here we are on the eve of 2008 , we look back at the past events as 2007 finally comes to a close. We are reminded of the good times and of course the bad and hope that the next will be a little bit better. It feels as if part of my life has ended and a new chapter is about to begin. After all 2007 is now just a memory and 2008 is just a dream..."

Alright finished! But I have to tell you all , I'm sort of mad...you see , I was hoping to post this before midnight but when I added my text , finishing touches and merged all the layers , my watch said it was 12:01 a.m.. And because of this reason this little diddy is my first picture of 2008 and the last of 2007(OH SHI- PARADOX :O!). So here we have my melanin deprived , iris chromatically challenged , original character Gin Hoshi in chibi form. For those of you who have a good memory , her outfit should look somewhat familiar. When I drew this , I had a Christmas theme in mind and thought I would have this posted by Christmas day the latest. But as usual someone or something comes and pulls me away from my art. This time it was work and getting a new iPod and watching videos on it till 6 am X3! Oh well it's up and done. So...how was everyone's Christmas/Boxing Day/New Years? Have any resolutions? Why does my birthday have to be less than a week away :O? And why do I have to be at school on my birthday?!? That should be illegal somehow...anyhoo , I'm off to <strike>add more videos and songs to the iPod</strike> sleep! Night all!

:bulletred:Inking time: 2 hours[everything happens in 2's!] w/ Pilot DR Drawing[or Pigmentliner] pens and my new lightbox.
:bulletred:Colouring time: Well I was on the cusp of a new year :p...okay fine 11 hours. Coloured with Photoshop 7.0[for flat colours] and CS2[for shading , text and extra touches] , using the e3 Works and Wacom graphire3 tablets. Oh and =KittyPaint using the free form pentool is so much fun :3!

Seen this on :iconunseenartists:!

I admire the character design a lot. The clothing detail & conceptualization, mixed with the facial gestures & details, bring out a somehow fresh but deep personality within her. Posing & gestures further bring out her character as well, nice work :)
